Dendroboor respects your privacy. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data we process when you visit this website, contact us or place an order, why we do so and what your rights are. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data we process and why
Orders. When you place an order we process your name, company name, address, email address, phone number, VAT number (if provided), order details and payment status. We need these data to process and deliver your order, send invoices and handle questions or returns. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Contact form and email. When you contact us we process your name, email address, organisation, phone number (optional) and the content of your message, in order to answer your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest or, where applicable, pre-contractual steps.
Financial administration. We are legally required to keep invoices and order data for our financial administration. Legal basis: legal obligation.
Website use. Our web server automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the website securely. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. See our cookie policy for the cookies this website uses.
Payments
Orders are paid by bank transfer. We process the payment details shown on your bank transfer (name, IBAN and amount) only to match your payment to your order and for our financial administration.
Who we share your data with
We only share personal data with parties that need them to carry out our services, such as:
- our hosting provider, which hosts this website and its database;
- our bank, for processing payments;
- the carrier that delivers your order (name and delivery address);
- our accountant, for our financial administration.
We have concluded data processing agreements with processors where required. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and invoice data for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. Messages sent via the contact form or by email are kept for as long as necessary to handle your question and for a maximum of 3 months afterwards.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unlawful processing, such as a secure (HTTPS) connection and restricted access to our systems.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, send an email to info@dendroboor.nl. We will respond within one month.
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
